Guaranteed Hypnosis Cds

Self-hypnosis is a great way to make yourself relax if you have been under a lot of stress, or even if you simply want a bit of time to yourself. To ensure that you set everything up correctly, really you need to be in a comfortable and private place and sitting in a comfy chair or on the sofa. Some people prefer to lie down, however, I feel it is best not to as there is a sure risk you will fall asleep, which is not the idea. When you have set yourself up in this way try to ensure that you are going to be left alone for at least a period of half an hour. Make sure that you are in the right frame of mind and try your very best to free your mind of anything that is worrying you or causing you stress. Do not panic if these thoughts are hard to get rid of, they will eventually just fade away. The idea is to recognise where the tension has built up in your body and a good start when beginning the self hypnosis is to start with the focus on your toes, gradually working your way up the sections of your body, focusing on pushing the tension out and away, freeing your mind and body and going into a state of total relaxation.

Techniques
Some people use techniques such as imagining water moving in waves over their body, others prefer to imagine themselves in a forest, or walking along the ocean shore, really you can use any image you like as long at it relaxes you, any soothing natural techniques are perfect. If you find you have trouble there are a lot of guaranteed self hypnosis CDs out there to help. Ensuring that you are breathing steadily and thinking clearly, thinking positive thoughts and telling yourself that you are calm will all assist you in leading yourself to a calm self-hypnotic state.

Mind Control Tricks

Mind control techniques are something you hear a lot about these days, especially online. From websites which are dedicated to those convinced that they have been the victim of a rogue hypnotist, to websites offering stories about mind control with a more science fiction bent to purely informational sources focusing on the clinical applications of the technique to those offering content of a different sort entirely, such as hypnosis mind Control feminization. It seems that there is a lot of interest for a lot of different reasons in hypnosis.

Mind control techniques are something you can learn and use with a little practice. While you may not really be able to hypnotize someone and leave them convinced that they are a chicken as you may have seen in cartoons growing up, there is a genuine e scientific basis to hypnosis and it can work to some extent.  These mind control tricks can be fun to learn and a big thrill to demonstrate to your family and friends. Hypnosis can actually be a lot of fun and very interesting to see in action.

There are any number of websites devoted to teaching the reader some hypnosis techniques and even mind control techniques, whether these are meant for therapeutic reasons (such as to help someone to quit smoking or other bad habits), for self-hypnosis such as is seen in some schools of meditative practices or simply mind control tricks sure to impress all of your friends at the next party you attend.

One of the most popular motivational tools available today is motivational hypnotherapy, and the reason that so many people are turning to hypnotherapy is that it works. This is one of the most powerful tools available to help you achieve all that you have ever dreamed, and even more.

With motivation hypnotherapy your mind is being programmed to provide you an abundance of motivation. You will not even have to think about being motivated to reach a goal. because the motivation will be there without conscious thought.

If you have motivation you can accomplish just about anything you want; suddenly the impossible becomes quit possible, and you begin achieving things you may have thought yourself incapable of. You will actually have the ability to see yourself doing anything you set out to achieve, and deep down inside you will know that you will reach your goals.

Hypnotherapy will not make you believe that you can do things that are truly impossible, such as flying without the benefit of wings. What hypnotherapy does do, is help you achieve personal goals by instilling in your mind the determination and belief you need to have the motivation necessary to reach those goals.

Although many people do not realize it, they are actually causing themselves to fail, or not be as successful as they could be. It is their own thoughts that block their success. When someone feels that they simply cannot reach a particular goal, whether that is succeeding in business, losing weight, or public speaking, chances are they will not be able to succeed.

On the other hand, if someone is convinced that they will be able to do something, chances are they will be successful at just about anything they believe they can do. With hypnotherapy, you too can get around the self made stumbling blocks that are keeping you from reaching your goals.

If you want to lose weight or become a great public speaker, hypnotherapy is a tool that can help you reach those goals. If you want to be successful in business, hypnotherapy can help provide you with all the motivation you need to have the most successful business possible.

Essentially, hypnotherapy can remove those doubts from your mind and reprogram you to know you can achieve anything you set out to do, it makes little difference what that is.

The mind is powerful, and hypnotherapy can help it work for you as apposed to against you.

Hypnosis and KL

The proof of how powerful hypnosis can be, comes in many forms. So much so that certain practices have long since been discontinued on the basis ethics and professionalism.

Some years ago, a fairly common practice in stage hypnosis was to induce a state called the full body catalepsy. In this state, the ’subject’ experiences a complete rigidity of all the muscle groups in his body. He/she becomes completely stiff, like a piece of wood. As a demonstration, stage hypnotists would often position the subject’s head and feet on opposing chairs, without support through the torso and legs. This created a sort of human bridge, upon which the hypnotist would sit or stand.

The full body catalepsy contains no therapeutic use whatsoever. It serves merely for theatrics, and it’s obviously quite frowned upon today. It is unlikely to be seen very much these days for ethical reasons. Despite the fact that you’re unlikely to see such a stunt, it remains a strong example of how powerful hypnosis can be. The act of turning a person’s body into a rod of iron with mere suggestion is quite simply an amazing feat.

To a greatly lessened extent, catalepsy is still used today, but only on isolated body parts like an arm or a leg. This is done to deepen the state of hypnosis, and bears no risk of injury to the subject unlike the full body catalepsy. In fact, they don’t even feel any discomfort. For instance, I can induce hypnosis on someone, and bring about arm catalepsy, and they can remain in this position for an extended period of time, even an hour, without feeling a thing. Try this at home, and within a few short moments, you will feel extremely uncomfortable.

Hypnosis is its own form of pain control. A technique called glove anesthesia can be induced where the hand can be made to feel numb, and experience a total loss of sensation. The anesthesia can then be transferred to other parts of the body by putting the anesthetized hand on another body part, such as the stomach. This is a very powerful technique which I have used many times with great success.

A more subtle example of the power of hypnosis is witnessed regularly if you watch competitive athletes, like runners, as they mentally prepare for a race. There extreme focus and concentration takes them to a place where everything else is tuned out, and they are literally running every inch of that race in their mind, before it even begins, mentally planning every step.

Fortunately, we needn’t go to severe extremes anymore to prove the power of hypnosis. The theatrical impact of hypnosis has of course dropped in popularity over the past decade or so anyway, and practices such as the full body catalepsy are a thing of the past. There is no longer the need for hypnotists to demonstrate the amazing power the mind has over the physical body. The general public is much more aware of the power and effects of hypnosis these days, even if there are still many myths that still remain.

Hypnosis Training Centre For You

Lots of people are interested in hypnosis training these days. They study hypnosis as a new career for obtaining professional qualifications or as an addition to their present career. Like meditation or daydreaming, hypnosis is an altered stage of consciousness. Psychiatrists use hypnosis therapy as a way to relieve their client’s distress. The technique of hypnosis assists a person in improving his sense of self-confidence, energy, and inspiration.

In United States, a number of hypnosis training programs are available. These programs assist an individual, who knows little or nothing about hypnotism beforehand, in becoming totally proficient and confident for obtaining the national hypnosis organization certification. Hypnosis trainings available on the most advanced techniques enable the individuals to hypnotize almost everyone into a deep stage of hypnosis in a few short minutes or even seconds.

Hypnosis training generally offers two levels of classes, namely, basic-intermediate trainings and advanced hypnosis classes. In the first level, learners are trained how to hypnotize almost everyone. They study the technique of when and how to give direct suggestions in such an order that the suggestions become successful quickly and permanently within the patient. During the advanced hypnosis portion, learners get the opportunity to learn the newest hypnotic regression and transformational techniques. This session enables the learner to quickly locate the cause of a patient’s problem.

Most training institutes offer hypnosis training in friendly, small-group settings. The teaching style is usually nurturing, experimental, and fun. Students learn all techniques of hypnosis by doing programs. Hypnosis training uses lecture, demonstration, experiential, audio-visual aids, practicum and question and answer sessions.

In short, hypnosis trainings are dedicated to the study, practice, and teaching of traditional hypnosis, and the modern Ericksonian hypnosis methods. The training institutes provide clinical and humanistic hypnotherapy from entry level to postgraduate level. In the United States, upon successful completion of a hypnosis training course, you will receive official recognition as a certified hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotists and the Academy for Professional Hypnosis Training.

Hypnosis provides detailed information on Hypnosis, Self Hypnosis, Weight Loss Hypnosis, Learn Hypnosis and more. Hypnosis is affiliated with Personal Life Coach.

Hypnotherapists In My Area

guaranteed hypnosis cdsHypnotherapy for Changing Habits

To Go Directly to Self Hypnosis Website Click Here

This article discusses how hypnotherapy can be an effective approach for treating habits such as smoking, overeating and anxiety.

Hypnotherapists utilise hypnosis to help people solve personal problems. Hypnosis is a state of mind, typified by deep relaxation, a narrowed focus and heightened sensory awareness. This state of mind occurs naturally and people slide in and out of this state, known as ‘trance’, all the time, in everyday life.

Examples of trance states include fantasising about someone you are attracted to, becoming deeply absorbed in reading a book, being anxious about an event causing you to re-live what could go wrong over and over in your head and daydreaming. As you may see from the examples given, trance states can be positive or negative, depending on what is being focused on.

Hypnotherapy is based on the philosophy, that trance states can be helpful and utilised to bring about positive change. This is because, when a person is deeply relaxed, as they are during trance, access to the unconscious mind is enabled. Hypnotherapists believe that learning, behaviour and change, occur at an unconscious level.

Categorising the mind into unconscious and conscious is just a conceptual model, a way of describing different aspects of the mind. The concept of unconscious and conscious mind is generally accepted in the western world. These different aspects of the mind are believed to have different functions. For example, the conscious mind is logical, rational, and sequential in thinking. It is also analytical, it uses words and numbers and stores short-term memories. The unconscious mind is intuitive, non-sequential in thinking, more creative, uses symbols and feelings and stores long-term memories.

If you imagine your mind as operating on a sliding scale, at one end, you have highly alert states, towards the other end, you have more relaxed states such as daydreaming and further towards the this end still, deep trance and finally sleep.

Often when people present with problems at Hypnotherapy Herts, they have attempted to solve their problem through conscious effort and have struggled with this. For example, the insomniac, who finds that trying to consciously fall off to sleep, just seems to make things worse. At hypnotherapy Herts, the hypnotherapist will use hypnotherapy to gain access to the unconscious mind. This type of therapy can be very useful for treating habits. For example, there are often unconscious issues associated with smoking that are best dealt with through hypnotherapy. Most people do not consciously decide to continue poisoning and damaging themselves through smoking on a day to day basis.

The conscious mind, although strong at logical thinking and the other functions mentioned, tends to be much more rigid in thinking. The unconscious mind is much more flexible and as it stores all your life’s learnings, it is in the unconscious mind where habits are created and maintained. Through hypnotherapy Herts, the hypnotherapist is able to make habit changes much easier and more naturally, by working with the unconscious mind.

Karen Hastings is a NHS experienced mental health occupational therapist, Master NLP practitioner and hypnotherapist. Karen uses hypnotherapy in Hertfordshire, along with cognitive therapy approaches. For more information about Hypnotherapy, Herts visit http://www.karenhastings.co.uk

Unlocking the Myth of Hypnotic Communications

Unlocking the Myth of Hypnotic Communications

"Unquestionably" when the word hypnosis pops-up in a conversation or in the mainstream press, nostrils flair, minds conjure up strong reactions of parlor tricks and pictures of late night scary movies where starry-eyed maidens are seduced to carry out satanic acts.

Here we are, in modern times, where we have set foot on the moon, (opps - better watch my words - there are people who still think the earth is flat) broke the sound barrier, communicate wireless with the most modern technology and still people see hypnosis as a hoax. Even the well educated are not off the hook from such lack of knowledge and ignorant responses.

Altered states and trance experiences have been around long before the word hypnosis. What is unique about hypnotic communications is that it’s truly magical and at the same time clearly explainable and understandable.

Regardless, of the mystique surrounding hypnotic communication, there is no hocus-pocus involved, and the only tool you will need is your "MIND". Sound too easy?

Follow along and prepare yourself to be amazed - both by the power of your mind to shape who you can become, and by the power you have to guide it.

First, Lets’ remove a couple of old misconceptions that you’re supposed to talk in a monotone when you do hypnosis and that you are under control of someone’s power. A more accurate way to channel the thought that others can control us would be to restate that hypnosis is powerful communication to influence others as well as the self.

That is clearly evident in advertising communications - persuasive salespeople, politicians, religious leaders, and business leaders just to name a few. The hypnotist may take you into an altered state by using a monotone voice for getting a particular outcome or result. Similarly, a more animated approach, just like a glib politician, can wow you into the same altered state through their mesmerizing performance.

And, as for the self - we are masters at entering altered states many times a day - programming with hypnotic communications for what we can’t do rather than what we can do. (Just listen and catch yourself every time you say "I can’t", "No", or "That was Stupid")

Parents are excellent at using hypnotic communications for getting an unwanted response from a child - "Don’t spill your milk"! - Turn your back and the next thing you hear is the child’s glass of milk falling on the floor. If I tell you "don’t get to excited about my free no obligation gift offer at end of this newsletter". Or, if I say, "I don’t want you to worry about what happens after reading this article". You and the child are stuck with trying to understand what was just said. Unsuspectingly, an unwanted behavior occurs in the child — spilling the milk — and you, the reader, somehow wanting to understand what "don’t want you to worry" means, will momentarily fall into an altered state conjuring up in your mind all kinds of possibilities.

Hypnotic communications is a very natural process that we all do all the time — some have just learned to do it more eloquently for positive outcomes and others sabotage themselves. It’s a skill that you can develop to be a very powerful communicator for changing yourself and influencing others.

The challenge that people have is they don’t recognize, understand or notice the natural flow of hypnotic communication. And, therefore is very transparent and goes undetected by the incomprehensible person.

Here is an everyday example: Put yourself in this scene - you’re driving down a freeway or highway and surprisingly you pass an intended off-ramp or street that you were going to exit onto. For a split second you may have been startled upon discovering that you passed the exit and said something like - "dam" or "stupid me how did I miss that"?

Unknowingly you were experiencing hypnotic communications with yourself - an altered state of consciousness - focused in a hyper state of awareness in your subconscious mind on something other than paying attention to your driving - daydreaming as some would describe it.

Watch out for the pink elephant behind you. - Got you! - for a split second did you visualize a pink elephant? Now I can just hear the skeptics saying, this hypnosis stuff doesn’t work. Clearly it works! And, it has programmed you into the person you are today.

Habits of behavior are learned through hypnotic communications and work specifically for changing any unwanted behaviors in life. You can learn to eliminate habits of behavior that would enable you to stop smoking, eliminate weight, overcome fears, and to create new habits of behavior for greater success in life.

The mind is much more "malleable" than we thought and marketers are learning to understand and capitalize on what influences consumers unconscious minds as much as their conscious minds do.

Learning hypnotic communications through self-hypnosis will clearly help guard your mind against self-sabotaging acts and bring strength and awareness of external influence. And, you will experience harmonious balance and control in your life.

Changing Hypnotic Realities Without a Word: The Power of Presuppositions

 women hypnosis video clips

To Go Directly to Self Hypnosis Website Click Here

Conversational Hypnosis illustrates its power mostly through the language you use. It is vital to learn how and when to use certain aspects of language to be successful in hypnosis. Stealth Tactics are some of the most valuable concepts you will learn in the time you spend studying hypnosis.

Stealth Tactics are a set of ways that will help you to enter the mind of a subject and leave your suggestion either without detection from the critical factor or by overloading the conscious mind in a way that it will not object to your statements presence.

As you learn the Stealth Tactics you will also be learning how to combine those tactics with other language principals and concepts. All of which will help you in creating a full process or picture of how hypnosis works. Once you master all the language skills including Stealth Tactics you will be on your way to becoming a more skilled and accomplished hypnotist.

The fourth Stealth Tactic used in Conversational Hypnosis is the concept of Presuppositions. So what exactly is a presupposition? A presupposition is a linguistic assumption. Presuppositions are used everyday by you and everyone you know. These are things you assume given the statements you hear and make. They are believed to be true just because of the language you are using.

Almost every statement you make has a presupposition built into it. The best way to explain a presupposition is to show you an example. If you were to state, "The kids are riding in the back of the car." This is a fairly common statement, and there is a few presuppositions built into it. The first is that there is a car. The second is there is a back and front to the car. And the third is that there is more than one child in the car. All these things are things you assume from that simple common statement.

Another way that presuppositions work is once the information is implied you no longer consciously try to disagree with these facts. Once the statement is made you are not questioning whether or not there are kids or a car, you are busy thinking about where the kids are in the car.

Now there are many different types of presuppositions that can be made in many different ways, we will go over some of the most valuable for your needs in the art of hypnosis.

The first type of presupposition is one of awareness. When you take the time to imply that you are aware of a certain thing it will immediately draw your listener’s attention to it. In this presupposition you are taking the focus off the subject and redirecting their focus to where or why it is that way. In this concept if resistance does take place it will happen on the level of awareness not on the subject itself. Words you can use to imply awareness are know, aware, realized and noticed.

The second type of presupposition uses time and time sequence with in the statement. The presupposition that uses time and time sequence will state a chain of events in sequence or a time that they took place. You can use numerical order to do this; first, second and third.

You can also accomplish this by using words like begin, end, as soon as, prior to, after, before, continue and so on. Any words that describe a time sequence or time something happened.

The reason this works to distract resistance is that your listener gets caught up in organizing the events and when they took place. Even though this is not really necessary or important it does allow time for your suggestions and ideas to quietly slip by the critical factor.

As you are learning the three types of presuppositions you can also practice stacking presuppositions. When you stack presuppositions, one on top of the other you are sending and overwhelming amount of information out for the conscious mind to make its way through. This is a great way to distract the conscious mind from noticing the suggestion you are slipping in.

Usually when you stack presupposition the listener’s conscious mind will get over loaded with information and generally revert back to just going with the flow of your speaking. This means they are not going to take the time to critically think or analyze what you are saying, making resistance nonexistent.

The final presupposition you need to know is that of adverbs and adjectives. These are used to imply quality or action. They are descriptive words like fortunately, luckily, curious and sadly. In this presupposition you are making your listener more aware of the quality of a thing than the thing itself. "Luckily, I did catch the train."

There is no question about the train’s existence; the attention is drawn to the lucky part. If you made this statement alone your listener would not resist the fact there was a train but want to know why you almost missed it. The resistance is newly placed on the how; how did the action happen, how did you almost miss the train. In this presupposition there is no need to know how to use or stack them because the conscious graciously does it for you.

It is important to remember that these are not just statements they are valuable tools for you to sneak into the mind past the critical factor. This can be done with one presupposition but is more likely to work when you stack three or more together. This will adequately overload the conscious so your suggestions are firmly planted. In doing three or more presuppositions you will override the conscious’ ability to keep up with you and there will likely be no critical analysis at all.

3 Reasons to Hypnosis Failuresgainesville hypnotherapy

To Go Directly To Self Hypnosis Website Click Here

Hypnosis is a widely popular choice for psychological treatment. Its power is beyond belief. For instance, long-term smokers can stop their addiction after a hypnotic session. However, hypnosis can fail for you if…

Have you ever tried self hypnosis or taking a hypnotic session before? Chances are you may find it difficult to get hypnosis working, and the results are not satisfactory as you think. In fact, those failures revolve around three major issues: knowledge, experience and intrinsic circumstances. After reading this article, you will understand better why hypnosis sometimes fails.

Hypnosis Knowledge
Knowledge in the hypnosis discipline is vital to your success. And it is not about how many books you read or lessons you take, but the correct understanding of the concepts. If you have misconception or confusion, this will create a conscious block which bars the subconscious mind to accept beneficial suggestions. Doubt is one problem in hypnosis. You have to nail the foundation right before moving on to carry out practice for others or yourself. Fail to follow the rules can sometimes lead to potential danger. If you are going to try self hypnosis, the surefire way is to use ready-made self hypnosis audio tapes. This will guarantee a workable hypnosis to work. Alternatively, you can study the hypnosis scripts which are already proven to work.

Experience in Hypnosis
Sometimes, hypnosis does not work for you because you lack experience to handle various situations. Hypnosis is not merely to follow the guidelines - while it is the major approach for hypnotists. There are many situations where the procedures are not previously prescribed in textbooks. You need to be flexible, and calibrate your hypnosis session according to specific needs. This is something you cannot learn by reading. With practice, you will soon discover the ever-changing challenges to reach the hypnosis goals.

Intrinsic Factors
Even if you are well knowledgeable, you will come across internal issues beyond your control. In case of clinical hypnosis, the most obvious problem is the failure of compliance from the subject. When the subject is confused or doubtful about the hypnosis procedures, the subconscious barriers will reflect in the hypnosis session, and it becomes difficult to accept suggestions. Hypnosis cannot work if one does not believe it. Conscious barriers cannot be melted away by hypnosis. There are also other factors like emotional conditions and environmental factors. Relaxed and comfortable setting is a key to hypnosis success.

For hypnosis to work as you expect, your belief is crucial. Remember that hypnosis skills take time to build up. Your patience and efforts are elements to succeed. Hypnotherapy For PTSD

Self-hypnosis for stress reliefgainesville hypnotherapy

To Go Direclty To Self Hypnosis Website Click Here

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is an extremely serious condition to have as it is caused by a traumatic experience. The debate is about whether stress hypnosis can be used to treat PTSD? What is PTSD? Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is an anxiety disorder resulting from exposure to intense trauma such as serving during wartime or being raped. According to DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders published by the American Psychiatric Association 4th ed), the requirements for a diagnosis of PTSD include the following Criteria:

  • A1 - Exposure to an extreme traumatic stressor involving direct experience of an event involving actual or threatened death, injury, or other threat to one’s physical integrity; or witnessing an event involving death, injury, or a threat to the physical integrity of another; or learning about unexpected or violent death, serious harm, or threat of death or injury experienced by a family member or other close associate.
  • A2 - The person’s response must involve intense fear, helplessness, or horror.
  • B - Persistent re-experiencing of the traumatic event.
  • C - Persistent avoidance of stimuli associated with the trauma and numbing of general responsiveness.
  • D - Persistent symptoms of increased arousal.
  • E - The full symptom picture must be present for >1 month.
  • F - The disturbance must cause clinically significant distress/impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning.

Learning To Manage PTSD

Education about PTSD is advised as a first step in the treatment of the disorder. Many different types of psychotherapy are currently being used in the treatment of PTSD; however, the most successful ones seem to be those based on a cognitive behavioral approach. This approach addresses such methods as situational exposure and eye movement desensitization. A regimen of mood suppression drugs, antidepressants, and sleep aids such as Prazosin (which suppresses nightmares) may be prescribed to the sufferer as a means of treating their PTSD.

May A Normal Life Be Maintained?

Even though many people suffering from PTSD may be inclined to live a somewhat reclusive life, there are those who chose to try to reintegrate with the general population. All assistance possible should be given to these individuals so that they are able to transition well. This is the pinnacle in the treatment of a sufferer of PTSD. The disorder may not ever go away, but with proper medical and mental treatment, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder does not have to impose a lifetime of isolation. Maybe alternative therapies such as stress hypnosis are worth a look at here.
